Food Vendors:
PLEASE NOTE: Only packaged food gift items only such as jams, honey, spreads etc. No food trucks permitted.
For those looking to sell food, all food vendors must apply for a Specialty Business License (SBL), which costs $52.00 annually. Anyone selling food to the public must have an up-to-date Health Inspection Certificate and provide all the required information in Commerce City's Outdoor Vendor Requirements checklist.
Vendors selling pre-baked goods may fall under the Cottage Foods Act. If vendors are located within the City, a General Business License (GBL) is still required. However, if vendors are outside city limits, they will only need a MuniRevs account. They can check the eligibility of their products under the Cottage Foods Act by completing a questionnaire available online at https://cdphe.colorado.gov/dehs/cottage-foods.
If they plan to participate in a city event, we also ask that they provide a copy of their food safety training certificate.
